Your household’s usage is compared to the averaged usage of a group of homes in your service area that are similar to yours. The homes in the averaged group are selected by their similarity to yours regarding some or all of the following elements:

• Location
• Year built
• Heat type
• Size (in square feet)
• Dwelling type (single or multi-family)
• Bill information (start date, end date, and consumption)
• Weather

Information on other homes is collected through public records and home profile updates. Their data is presented only as an average. You will never see another individual home’s energy usage information, nor will they see yours.
